Amazing place for kids and adults alike. Peaceful atmosphere with a beautiful lake. Ample, cheap parking. Great views and nice walking paths. Good cafe and play area for kids too.

One of my absolute favorite parks, perfect for escaping the noise of the city and enjoying a peaceful picnic surrounded by nature. It’s also an amazing spot for a refreshing morning run, offering calm paths and beautiful scenery that make every workout more enjoyable. No matter the season or the weather, this park has a special charm that always makes it a relaxing and welcoming place to spend time outdoors.

Something for everyone. Families, runners, cyclists, couples or a mindful walk by yourself. It's got toilets, cafe and ice-cream van. Parking is cheap but I suggest you get there before lunch time as it fills up quick. It has a flat walk around the water. Active activities on the walk round as well as a kiddies play area. Trails leading off to various places including some ruins

A fantastic place for a leisurely dog walk! The views are beautiful and the path is well maintained! There’s a large car park which you pay £2.50 for 4 hours which is very good value! There’s a cafe serving a wide range of food and snacks, plus toilets by the reception. It’s great for dogs and there’s ply of bins along the lake path! There’s a playground and nature trail for kids to keep them interested! Plus a light railway too!
