Visit websiteBrilliant place for a day out with friends, family and grand kids. Very clean with no litter. Went on a baking hot day but plenty of shade. Took a picnic and just enjoyed the calm. Well maintained and nice clean toilets close by. Went during the week in term time so not at all busy especially the safe play area which was well shaded and great for children to climb and run around. Will definitely return.
Gorgeous park. My partner and I visited for the parkrun, but decided to stick around after and do a bigger walk. The bus stop outside is a bit risky/undieal, being right on the A road. Other than that, this was a fantastic experience.
Operations 24/7, entry is free and their are options for walking and cycling. Tje first hill is a bit if a steep climb, but after that it's pretty good. Lovely views and plenty of places for picnics, barbecues and pizza ovens. We'll worth the parking fee
It was bit hilarious bike experience and firstly we find bit hard to find an way to join blue cycling trail and if you don’t want enjoy natural beauty and ride the bike only the trail is okay , otherwise there is an one way around hill which we feel bit better
Visited today to see the Highland Cattle that are now roaming the hill to pasture naturally. They are very docile and used to humans I think. They are also surprisingly adept at walking around the slopes of the.
