Drove by this place so many times but finally visited for a good long woodland walk. Saw some lovely wildlife, the landscape was beautiful in the afternoon sun! Free parking was a bonus.

I really enjoyed it here. We followed the longest trail and it was a good mix of grassy trails, gravelled surface and woodland. It's about 3.5 miles. Can be really muddy in parts through the winter. A great place for spotting wildlife. There's a hut providing some history from around the area.

A lovely quiet walk, great for all from kids to dogs!. You walk on good hard paths through trees of various ages to an open lake with viewing point. Walks can be as long or short as you like with meandering paths. Take some bread for the ducks !

A lovely place for a walk and really nice place to bring a dog with lots of open spaces for them to have a good run. Didn't see a café but if there is one it would be even better. Free parking too!
