This is a special river promenade with many different gardens that are maintained by the volunteers of Queen’s Promenade Friends. It overlooks the Thames and is a beautiful location just outside Kingston for friends and families to meet.

Excellent and well maintained paved Thames promenade, with Hampton Court home park on the opposite side of the river. West facing so gets the late evening sun on summer days.

The riverside walk along Queens Promenade is perfect no matter the season. Various birds, river views, cafes and restaurants surround it. Despite its popularity with locals and visitors, it is a peaceful walk. If you feel fit, you can walk to Hampton Court in 40 minutes. The sunsets create a beautiful scene and make the area magical. A must-do walking experience when visiting Kingston Upon Thames. Each visit will provide you with something new.
