Came here for the parkrun 🏃‍♂️, it is a hilly course but I still enjoyed it. Will be coming back here again to do some walking 🚶‍♀️ really great park with a visitor centre and cafe.

Visited for the first time yesterday. Beautiful, tranquil place with lots of paths and trails through woodland. It was dry so trails were mainly firm and compact but probably quite slippery after rain. Squirrels, birds and insects all calling it home and enjoying some spring sunshine at last. The onsite Cafe (we were too late to try it) looked very nice. Also has a good shop with friendly, courteous staff. Big thanks to Max who was so enthusiastic, provided great information about the trail we wanted to try, and was super knowledgeable about Queenswood and the surrounding areas. This is a lovely place to be in nature, including the rather steep walk up Cruella D’Hill (fortunately there are seats scattered along the trails) and the onsite facilities were an unexpected bonus.

Nice woodlands for a walk. It's not extensive but does have some gravelled paths so ordinary footwear is ok. But several paths are not gravelled so walking boots are best if you want to explore all the footpaths which can be quite muddy after wet weather. The specimen trees are labeled, though most trees are just ordinary native trees. There are some features to interest the children. There's a cafe and shop for gifts. We stopped by for a walk and a couple of hours was plenty of time to see it all and have coffee and cake. 😎👍👍👍

Such a lovely country park! I have visited this place multiple times a year every year of my life. My family and I love it, our dogs always love it. There is a Gruffalo trail, a cafe, a gift shop, a park, plenty of parking, toilets that are usually fairly clean, picnic tables, and a great lookout point on the trails. Stunning location.

Not a bad place to visit for free but we struggled to find all the gruffalo characters as there's not many signs and we had a wheelchair user with us so couldn't explore too far. Parking and the cafe are a little expensive but the park and forest is free to explore. No cycling allowed. Not even for children which is a shame as our little ones just wanted to ride their bikes.
