A really great time! With a collection of great pieces on display (where you can really see the detail and craftsmanship), information, and depth. That leaves you wishing to seek out and learn even more about ancient Egypt. Located right near Battersea Power Station, a really nice and relaxing time. Would wholeheartedly recommend! (I was so engaged i only took one photo the entire time) General duration: We spent a little over 2 hours going through it and had a really amazing time
A must see if you have an interest in ancient Egypt, a fascinating and incredible exhibition with a really fun VR and beautifully curated collection. We loved the air con in this heatwave and how amazing the staff were. The audio guide was a nice touch with different experts explaining different artifacts as you went through.
Very amazing exhibit going through about King Ramses, had lots of intresting historical and ancient artifacts on display that you don't see in your typical museum, amazing visuals all around and overall recommend to see this exhibition.
We visited the Ramses exhibition recently and really enjoyed it. There’s a lot to see, so it’s worth going early in the morning to avoid the crowds and take it all in at your own pace. The VR experience is a highlight and definitely a must, though it’s a shame it’s not included in the ticket price—especially as tickets are already quite expensive, which can add up for a family day out. It would also be great if there were more interactive elements for younger kids. The location is excellent—easy to get to and with plenty of amenities nearby, making it perfect for a full day out. Overall, a great experience with a few small drawbacks.
Well worth a visit; you can rent an audio guide but I found enough information around the exhibition. You can take photos without flash. Not enough seating if you wanted a rest and it would be good to have seats where short films are shown. The initial film on entry had no seating; other seats were at the back of an area so people would literally stand in front of you completely oblivious to blocking your view. A good mixture of large objects and smaller ones, with information about individual items as well as groups of items. There was plenty of room around the items so I could see everything I wanted to see properly. I spent about 1.5 - 2 hours; it all depends how much information you want to see/read.
