I recently held my child's birthday party here for 22 children, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. We paid £17.95 per child, but the service was poor from start to finish. The children were seat on two tables, yet there still wasn't enough room for everyone to sit comfortably we had to find ourself another table so we could seat all the children. When I asked for the gift bags, they weren't even ready, and the staff seemed unaware that they were supposed to be provided. It felt very disorganised. To make matters worse, at the end of the party we didn't receive the free return voucher that was included with the birthday package for my child. Overall, I expected much better for the price we paid. I would definitely not choose to hold my child's birthday party here again.

Positive note, it was so quiet we had the place to ourselves. Place was clean and tidy. Negative note, prices ridiculous 27 pounds for 2 children (under 3) and 4 adults. Then paid 8 pounds for a kids meal, the smallest x4 chicken bites and a few chips. Yes they gave unlimited cordial but not worth 8 pounds. 8 pounds for an egg mayo sandwich. Came on brown bread, no butter and no sign of any mayo. Just sliced egg. No side salad or crisps. We have used this play centre for years, but this will be our last visit.

Visited recently as a spur of the moment Easter holiday activity for my son and was pleasantly surprised. Out front you will find a good amount of parking and it is all wheelchair accessible since there are no steps between the car park and the entrance. Inside the soft play is very large and well equipped. There is a large football pitch, trampoline, two slides and a load more. There is also a dedicated area for toddlers and babies. Everything seemed clean and tidy so I was happy. The entire building has secure entrance and exits so you can relax a little on one of the numerous tables while the kids play. You could also enjoy some of the available food and drink options. If you are looking for a solid soft play for your children give this place a go.

Today I visited Rascals after not having been for a few months and hearing that the previous owners had left. I was hoping that the excellent experience we have had previously would continue to be at a high standard. Unfortunately I was disappointed. Rascals has always had a lovely menu that catered to a wide range of tastes and could be enjoyed by all my family, including myself on a slimming world diet. What an absolute shame to find that everything on the menu was high fat (with the exception of jacket potatoes, which looked unappetising, to say the least). We had the children’s pizza and chips meal and a portion of chips - which came out undercooked and anaemic. The pizza wasn’t bad, but for a kids meal you’d expect it to be sliced up for little hands, which it wasn’t. In addition, when we came in we had to pay for the adults (this has never been a thing before) and when we checked once we got home, we’d been overcharged. The website lists a price for the adults, but we’d been charged over double that. While the original play area is still excellent and the kids loved it, there are no longer any baby walkers, bouncers or push along for the really little ones, limiting them to sensory items in the baby area and nothing else. However, for all these negative points, the staff remain pleasant and helpful, very good with the kids and show excellent customer service. It’s a real shame that Rascals is not what it used to be. It says a lot that when you used to come at lunchtime on the weekend, you’d often be turned away as they were absolutely full to busting. Today there was empty tables and tons of space in the car park. We won’t be returning.

Avoid! Super dirty! In need of a mega refurb and a DEEP clean!!!! My kids white socks were black when they left!! The water features had mould. !!!
