Had such a lovely time at the Remus Memorial Horse Sanctuary. Meeting all the horses and reading all their stories was a lovely way to spend my Sunday. The other activities there were great too and the chocolate cake is a must. Will definitely be coming back and recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic afternoon in Essex!

Lovely sanctuary where horses, donkeys and other animals recovering from abuse can be happy and healthy. Great to visit on an Open Day and see them in their fields. Note the sanctuary is only open to visitors on set Sundays
