Went paddle boarding on the river today and it feels like another country. Worth checking the tide times for the river if you are going just the plan the direction so you aren’t going against it but it’s very calm and beautiful. Also can go crabbing and loads to explore with kids.

I recently visited River Hamble Country Park, and it was a fantastic experience surrounded by nature. Located along the beautiful River Hamble, this park offers peaceful woodland trails, open meadows, riverside views, and plenty of wildlife, making it an ideal destination for a relaxing day outdoors. Walking through the scenic paths and enjoying the fresh air was incredibly refreshing. The calm atmosphere, beautiful river views, and well-maintained trails make it a perfect place for families, nature lovers, hikers, and photographers. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful walk, a picnic, or simply a chance to reconnect with nature, River Hamble Country Park is definitely worth a visit.

Did a 10km walk around here this morning, very quiet and peaceful. Lots of paths for short and long walks. Views are beautiful of the river. There is a play area for children, BBQ fields for the summer, a cafe and clean, accessible toilets. We are lucky to live near this.

Great place to take dogs for a walk,and great views over the river hamble, there is a large cafe in the main carpark, and a dog wash station for cleaning your mutt after it has been in the river 😁

A beautiful country park. Lovely riverside walks, stunning views of the River Hamble and waterspouts available if you're feeling active (kayaking mostly). There's also a lovely play area for the children.
