Beautiful scenery, lots of buildings, walls, lakes and walking paths. Perfect for a weekend walk.

Lovely walking area but a shame the buildings got damaged and demolished and disgusting that some dog walker had left their poo bags by the bench by the lake where it would be nice to sit. Also discarded cigarette butts (wildfire hazard) and litter in the carpark even though there’s a bin there.

Great place to walk for the whole family. If you want to park close by and reach the gardens without long walk, go to Lower House Car park, which is located 15 minutes walk from gardens. Gardens themselves are an amazing place to relax and you can get some really nice scenery views next to Pigeon and Pike tower.

Just love this place! You can find different routes each time. Bit of a climb to start from which ever route, views are worth it. Go explore!

A beautiful place to go walking. Many pass through on their way to Rivington Pike, but you could easily spend all day in the gardens. There are lots of interesting architectural features to explore, Lever Bridge being a must-see. Ideal for cyclists and dog walkers. Grounds are well-cared for by a dedicated team of volunteers.
