Really lovely big park in the middle of Barnstaple with a beautiful path along the river and great views of the town and cathedral tower.

Very pleasant walk along the river .Has an old iron bridge to walk over .plenty of stops for a picnic..Ideal for dog walking to ..

Great place to take the kids and has a great play area. There is also a small shop selling drinks snacks and ice cream. There are public WCs close at hand.

Very much enjoyed Armed Forces Day. Saw the Red Arrows fly past and enjoyed the stalls. I used the toilet although I couldn't find a light. There was an adult outdoor gym which had well oiled moving parts. The children's playground was popular too.

Fantastic place while on holiday I've walked my dogs here, very clean lovely space. And park facilities for children.
