Located in Kingsbury, Roe Green Park is the heart and soul of the local community in North West London. Spanning roughly 40 acres, this park is a beautiful example of how a traditional village green has evolved into a diverse, modern recreational space. It is characterized by its vast, rolling lawns, mature tree lines, and a sense of openness that is hard to find so close to the urban buzz of the city. The park is split into several distinct areas, ranging from the beautifully restored walled garden—a quiet haven for horticultural enthusiasts—to the expansive playing fields that host local cricket and football matches. A walk through the park reveals a slice of history, as it sits on land that was once part of the historic Roe Green village. Whether you are wandering through the tree-lined avenues that turn spectacular shades of gold in autumn or enjoying a quiet moment by the ornamental flower beds, the park offers a peaceful, unpretentious retreat that feels authentically "local." Tips for your visit: • The Walled Garden: Make sure to step inside this quiet enclosure; it is meticulously maintained and provides a perfect escape for those looking to meditate or enjoy a book in silence. • Outdoor Fitness: The park features a well-equipped outdoor gym and several multi-use games areas, making it a popular spot for morning workouts. • Autumn Walks: The variety of mature trees, including oaks and chestnuts, makes this park a premier destination for leaf-peeping during the fall months. • Barn Hill Connection: If you’re looking for a longer hike, the park serves as a great starting point for a walk up toward Barn Hill for panoramic views of Wembley Stadium and the London skyline. Roe Green Park is a welcoming and versatile green space that captures the quiet beauty and community energy of suburban London. 🌳🏏

We attended "Rangeelu Gujarat" - Festival of Gujarat. Absolutely brilliant festival organised by Prity Varsani & her team. Real showcase of Gujarat in India with lots of traditional stalls, delicious food variety and folk dancing. Elephant Atta offered everyone free flour as good gesture Highly recommend

This is a beautiful park which is great for children. There were many children playing football in a large field . There are swings and slides in a playground. There are many large beautiful trees . It is well maintained . It is worth a visit and there is plenty of free parking beside it.

This park is in awful condition. Two of the swings were broken, and the other two had cracked seats, which looked like they would break soon. The spinning climbing frame was broken and taped up with Gaffer tape, but wires were still sticking out, which scratched one of the children, making her hand bleed. One of the chains on the big swing seat was broken , so it was unstable. There were deep pot holes in the runner surrounding the swings, which were a trip hazard. The gate into the play area was broken so dogs could easily get in, and dog poo was around the area covered in flies. In short - don't use this area.
