Would have given 5 stars if they had a play park for the kidos but apart from that its a stunning country park and we'll worth a visit

A lovely, relaxing space where you can take a stroll, walk the dogs, even meet up with friends and enjoy a bite to eat at the cafe in the visitor centre. Plenty of picnic areas to enjoy a light bite or BBQ when the weather is favourable. Remember, there are no waste facilities here, other than dog bins, so take your litter home.

We visited Al's at Roe Valley Country Park in Limavady for a group lunch — nine of us in total — and it exceeded every expectation. The panini menu offered a fantastic variety, and our standout favourite was the halloumi on spicy sourdough with avocado: a truly inspired combination of flavours and textures that had the whole table talking. Despite being a busy service, the staff were attentive, efficient, and genuinely warm — the kind of hospitality that makes a meal feel special. The range of choices on the menu is impressive, catering to all tastes without ever feeling overwhelming. And the setting? Simply beautiful. After lunch, a gentle walk along the riverside path made for the perfect end to the afternoon. If you're looking for great food, wonderful service, and a gorgeous natural backdrop all in one place, Al's at Roe Valley Country Park is not to be missed. We'll absolutely be back! We had an absolutely fantastic afternoon at this beautiful country park walking along the river. The café was lovely with lots of tasty things for lunch and a brilliant atmosphere. The walk was absolutely stunning with lots to see, lots of dogs running around enjoying their day. The perfect place for families and couples. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
