Beautiful country park with lots to do for all ages. We took a picnic but there were plenty of places to get food and drink and the queue for icecreams wasnt long at all despite us going on a busy weekend. The day out can be as cheap or as expensive as you like but the paid for activities were all reasonably priced. Lovely little paddling area in the lake that ypu could just enjoy without needing to book. The park was being renovated but it looked great. Full family day out. Only downside was it took us 1hr 20mins in the queue to get out of the carpark. There needs to be more exit barriers.

Absolutely amazing place for a day out. Rother Valley Country Park is clean, peaceful, and really well maintained. The lake views are beautiful and there’s plenty to do whether you want to walk, cycle, relax, or enjoy water activities. The staff were friendly and the whole atmosphere felt safe and welcoming. Great parking, good facilities, and loads of space for families, couples, or even just going solo to unwind. One of the best outdoor spots around the area — definitely worth visiting again.

Really nice place for a walk or paddle boarding, Cycling or just a nice walk around the lake. Launching fee is £13 for a full day per board. Or you can hire bikes paddles boards or pedalos. This place does get busy in the summer months. NO BBQ OR FIRES. Signs every where. There is a brand new cafe or you can head over to the cable ski bar for a pint or have a go on the cable ski or aqua assault course. You can also get pizza & chips from the cable ski bar.

Been going here for the past 24 years. Andy and his family have done an unreal job of the cable ski , aqua park , and bar/ food areas. Truely the best place in the UK for everything you could possibly want. Down the road is sailing , bike hire , and now even gullivers. 10mins from meadow hall and food in the area is great . Would highly recommend

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Rother Valley Country Park is a total gem. Here is a 5-star review you can use for Google Maps, TripAdvisor, or Facebook: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Perfect Day Out for Everyone! I can’t recommend Rother Valley enough! Whether you’re looking for a peaceful nature walk or an adrenaline-packed afternoon, this place has it all. What I Loved: * The Atmosphere: Even when it’s busy, the park is so spacious that it never feels cramped. The views across the lakes are stunning, especially at sunrise or sunset. * Activities galore: From the cable ski and jet skiing to the more relaxed pedalos and mini-train, there’s something for every age group. The cycling paths are flat and well-maintained, perfect for a family bike ride. * Dog Friendly: It’s a paradise for dog owners. Plenty of space for them to run, and the "dog wash" station near the café is a lifesaver after a muddy walk! * Facilities: The café serves great coffee and ice cream, and the seating area overlooking the water is the perfect spot to recharge. Parking is easy and reasonably priced for a full day of entertainment. Top Tip: If you're visiting on a weekend, get there early to snag a prime picnic spot by the water! We will definitely be back. It’s easily one of the best country parks in the region.
