It's just a MASSIVE and beautiful area for any and everyone. Was there for the Roundhay Festival (working!) Had a brilliant time..prices on food is scandalous to be honest, so bought my own. Fabulous time had, def going again for social gatherings later in the year!

What an absolutely, amazing and beautiful place. There are plenty of walks whether it be fields or woodlands and stunning bodies of water. A fair was being held on the day we went which was an added treat. The playgrounds were very busy so we weren't able to try them out to be able to comment. Ice cream vans dotted around. A train which, again, we did use so can't comment but was lovely to see. Tropical World where you can wander around to see a variety of animals. Numerous car parks to chose from reasonably priced. Great way to spend a summer day out.

This place has lovely scenery and many different walkable aress, as well as areas for picnics or just lying down. I wish dog owners would keep the dogs they "can totally control" on leads, especially during the baby season as unfortunately some of the wildlife, especially the young can get harmed by them.

Amazing park! Came here for a nice day out with the family and had a great time. Parking was a bit of an issue because of Easter holidays, apart from that, everything else was perfect. The lake is beautiful, you could do a lap of it, that’s a good 2.5k km, perfect for walks / runs. The park is well kept, lots of green areas to settle down and have a picnic, kick a ball and play with the kids. The children’s playground is very busy but enough play activities for children. The train ride is also a good activity but we didn’t do it on this occasion. For toilet, I used the cafe toilet as that was available as soon as you park up. I’m not sure where the other toilet facilities are. The coffee stall is also great for a quick coffee and snack. Will definitely be back!

Massive parkland with various criss crossing walks with numerous parking areas. We parked in the Lakeside Carpark next to the café. We chose to undertake a circular walk of Waterloo Lake. Nice level hard under foot paths suitable for strollers etc. Dog friendly.
