Lovely place to walk! We came here as kids to use the playground and the playground was rather enjoyable for us when we were children and we are staying in York so we have been walking around the park quite a bit! It's a lovely location 🏞️🌳 The cafe onsite is also good! I had a fantastic golden vegetable soup! The strawberry smoothie I had was also lovely 🥰 We love the park!😍

Rowntree Park is a great place to visit during the day if you want to get out and enjoy a relaxing walk. The park has ponds where you can spot ducks and swans. There are also plenty of sports facilities throughout the park, making it a popular spot for both casual visitors and those looking to stay active. There's a café on-site where you can grab a drink or a snack before continuing your stroll. Overall, it's a great, well-maintained park with something for everyone.

Very nice walking through here on my first visit, even though I have lived near the area for most of my life. Tennis courts, skate park etc. Great for families and dogs. A small cafe/library within the grounds with toilets. Children's playground.

The park is lovely. There are big fields next to the river. There are lots of bridges too. This a great place for walks or people with dogs.
