Better than expected, took me 5 hours to visit, one of the most impressives collections i'ven ever seen, de dioramas , the scale models of battles like waterloo, the massive amount of interesting information on display, everything is shown and explained with care and dedication, they gave presentations on different subjects, like the function of fire weapons, on different places of the building wich, at the same time, is itself a piece of art, 5 floors of exibitions plenty of advantage points to enjoy the surrounding canal area from above, it's free so purchase something at the shop they have everything, also a nice cafeteria indoor and outdoors. As a bonus they also have some props used in some of my favourites movies of all time like Aliens, Excalibur,Monty phyton and the holy grial or Star wars. Awesome!!

I had an amazing visit to the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds and would happily give it 5 stars. It is honestly hard to believe that such a high-quality museum is completely free to enter. The scale and depth of the exhibitions are impressive, and it is easily one of the best places to explore history in the UK. The museum spans five floors, with a very comprehensive collection covering different periods and types of arms and armour. Everything is well presented and easy to follow, making it suitable both for casual visitors and those with a deeper interest in history. A real highlight is the live demonstrations and shows that take place every hour. They add a dynamic and engaging element to the visit and make the experience even more memorable. Overall, it is an outstanding museum that offers exceptional value, rich historical insight, and a full day of exploration. Highly recommended.

It's entry free! You can spend wonderful time with your family or friends. Good performance - funny but also you can learn about swords or other weapons. Highly recommended place! ❤️

Shockingly, this museum is free! Donations very much accepted. Our visit was on a weekday. Not crowded at all, much space to roam and explore. There were 3 shows, we attended 2. Some of the lighting could be better but we understand preservation and energy. They had a robust cafe and shop next door. We stayed at the Holiday Inn next door so our parking was included at that rate. A very short walk from the city centre.

Incredible collection of weapons and the such. Very informative and set out in lovely, understandable displays! There were love shows going on regularly throughout the day, and the shop had some great things in it! Can't believe its free entry, definetly worth donating to though!
