Fabulous place to bird watch and take some fresh air. Large open space with a lake and so many water birds.

Great remote place for a dog walk . Interesting place for the hound, mainly only used by responsible humans . Lots of cattle / sheep on route so only for dogs on lead or under control . No facilities , the car park is closed so it’s Parking in the lane which is a wee bit tight with a drop on one side . No poo bins .

So near to home but never been here. A hidden gem, lovely paths for walking or cycling. Lots of picnic areas but sadly no toilets.

Very easy to get to with a large free car park. Paths are in good repair making dirt easy walking. There is a good range of dry and wet land. The only scar on the landscape is the proximity of a land fill rubbish too which results in a large hillside being draped in rubbish and plastic. I saw a gull frantically away with a huge plastic bag hanging from its beak or neck. Very distressing to see
