Beautiful place, heard bitterns within minutes. Amazing species count for the 5 hours we were there. Easy access and wheelchair accessible. Lovely, friendly and knowledgeable staff/volunteers. We are going again very soon.

'Booming Bitterns' Incredible early morning guided walk today at RSPB Ham Wall. Both our guides were fantastic, pointing out marsh harriers, great white egrets, great crested grebes, sharing fascinating facts about the reed management and it's inhabitants and experiencing the dawn chorus. The highlight was not only hearing but spotting the elusive bitterns. Wonderful experience!

RSPB - pay for parking, well maintained wetlands, great paths to explore and see some amazing birds. Beautiful, peaceful. Well behaved dogs welcome on short leads.

Wonderful Reserve with a mixed habitat and a variety of amazing wildlife. Staff were friendly and free parking as a member, so happy days. Loved the views across the reed beds and marshes and to see Glastonbury Tor was fab. Plenty for the whole family to do and the highlight was Avalon hide. We saw marsh Harriers, great white and little egrets, bittern and all the usual suspects you would normally find on beautiful environments like this. Great day out. 👍
