Love coming here on a very hot day to cool off in the paddling pool with the kids. It is very shallow round the edges and gets a little deeper towards the middle. Would wear scuba shoes here as some parts can be slippery. There is a small kiosk to buy drinks, coffee, snacks and icecream which closes at 5pm. Would have given 5 stars if the toilets were better kept. There is also a tennis court next to the playground and a football/basketball cage opposite the playground. Plenty of green space around for a nice picnic.

Ruskin Park is great for little kids in the heat because it has the large paddling pool. It's also lovely to walk through and sit for a while on a bench. Lot's of squirrels, birds and butterflies. There are often small groups of people there picnicking and playing some reggae and Latino music on small devices. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Love this park! It does need more bins in my opinion but it’s just lovely there. Dog friendly. Little splash pool for kids. A playground. Callisthenics area. Tennis courts. Football/basketball pitch.

Ruskin Park is a pretty large green area with pretty much all amenities you’d expect, including playgrounds, sport pitches, toilets, benches and few bins

I’ve visited Ruskin Park many times as it’s close to my work, and I really enjoy stopping by for a quick walk to refresh and clear my head. It’s a very dog-friendly and child-friendly park, which makes it a great space for everyone. The park is quite large and well maintained, with plenty of green areas to walk around and relax. They also have a basketball court, which is a nice extra for those who enjoy sports. However, during the winter and especially in the evenings, some areas can feel very dark and a bit intimidating. Overall, it’s a lovely park and a great place to unwind, particularly during the daytime.
