I was delighted to find a park near the hotel I was staying in, with a fenced off dog park. Then I got there, and the whole park was covered in dog poo. The dog park especially, but also the rest of it. Un-collected dog poo everywhere. I can't imagine why/how people don't pick up after their dogs. Honestly, such a promising place turned into a disgusting carpet of poo by careless dog walkers, ruining it for everyone else. I pity the people living in surrounding houses who have to put up with this, except those who contribute to the mess. Utterly disgusting.

Lovely Victorian park tucked behind busy Brentford high street.Opened 1889 in honour of Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee.They built a fine drinking fountain of Aberdeen Granite in memory of the recreation ground honorary treasurer Mr.Montgomery and a very unique obelisk to commemorate the opening in 1889!Do visit if you seem to be nearby!Well-Worth Trip!

A pleasant square park, divided by surfaced paths, one tree lined, into four quadrants with a Victorian drinking fountain at the intersection. One quadrant has a playground and on the other side is a fenced off area for dog walkers.

I have to say I have a soft spot for this park (childhood memories). But it is a lovely park which is actually 300 years old this year! They have a good playground with play equipment from toddlers up to a zip wire! There is also a large grass area great for picnics, ball games, frisbee etc. There is another fenced and gated area for dog walking. The park has some beautiful trees. It doesn't have a cafe but the local supermarket is just across the road.

A village green in the center of BRENTFORD with easy access to bus services and commerce. Comprises of an off lead dog walking area and a well appointed childrens playground. It also has two open grass fields surrounded by mature trees. There are no toileting or sheltering facilities provided. An historical context is evident in 2 remaining memorial structures.
