One of the most quite nice place to go for a walk early morning or late evening. You will meet lot of four pawsome friends. Friendly people around. On a hot summer day, also enjoy the ice cream from whippys truck. There's also a fish and chip shop nearby. Place is serene

It's a pleasant walk with plenty of places to stop sit on the grass or benches, it takes about 30 mins to walk round at a gentle pace, there is a restaurant there which is popular and i would call before hand to make sure there is a table. It has its own fishing club with plenty of people with bivvies around the lake, there is plenty of different routes you can take when you're walking around the lake! They have a watersports centre there that caters for boating and open water swimming, you can using powered craft on there as you can see people on jetskis quiet often. The wildlife is varied and plentiful, having seen voles, turtles, weasels, buzzards, foxes and a lot of different waterfowl. I have also radio controlled boats on there too. Oh and you can't forget the ice-cream van, he is there all year round and leaves about 7ish if its quiet, he has been known to stay if its busy.

Amazing experience and Jane the coach there is absolutely fantastic! Takes her time to review technique and really looks at the finer detail to improve your stroke. Top setup and an amazing team 🙌🏻

First time at Sail waterpark Nice lake The price is great for the year Water looked clean Open water swimming Proper slipway observations here the restaurant building looks a bit of a mess it probably needs a fresh look I didn’t see any staff there (don’t even know where they were ) carpork needs resurfacing the white line for the car spaces need remarking yellow lines need remarking and redoing Possibly a one way system in place People are just parking anywhere And even down the ramp to the slip way There is also no conception of people being aware of moving water craft Toilets are ok The road driving up to the water park The bushes and hedges need trimming in places due to the road being so narrow

Lovely for walking, lots of trails, dog friendly. OK for push chairs. Feed the ducks and swans. There's a cafe and a restaurant. Public toilets. Good car parks. Walk round the lake or along the river.
