I loved this place. Came across often with my dear departed Dalmatian who was going through his 'reactive but still loves the beach' phase of his life. Absolutely deserted even mid summer. More importantly absolutely stunning. Such a beautiful place. A place where you can really touch base with life again. Rolling dunes, beautiful beach that seems to be endless. I can't recommend this place enough. I've experienced all weathers, some times all in the same day. It's wonderful. Manna for the soul.

Vast beach area and saltflats to walk along, with plenty of wildlife to spot. There were even some fighter jets practicing manoeuvres over the sea.

Saltfleetby itself is classic rural Lincs: flat horizons, big skies, and that gentle “nothing much happens here and that’s how we like it” energy. Then you turn a corner and there it is — the tank. Technically a FV432 armoured personnel carrier, but everyone just calls it the tank because that’s what you do when a large military vehicle is sitting on a beach like a slightly over‑enthusiastic garden ornament.

Easy parking, vast beach very peaceful & beautiful. When tide is out the sea is distant. Great place for walk with dogs. If you like natural England this is the place. Absolutely the opposite of Skegness!

Well worth a visit. Parking is at a small car park, but the fee is voluntary. Postcode- LN12 1NR. Postcode takes you to the middle of a small road... carry on to the bottom and the car park is on the right. No toilets or food available. Dogs allowed on the beach and at most times of the year allowed off lead too. Very quiet place, not many people. .the beach is extremely wide so do watch the tide times, and if you wish to see it, check the tide will be going out. You can literally walk for hours here. Head 30 mins North up the beach and you will find " tank on the. beach ", an old piece of history left in the sand.
