It was a wonderful dayout with family. Most intresting part was the walk on the bridge crossing M5 as my son is always fascinated with motorways. Loved the time spent with family over there!

I've been to West Brom quite a few times and never knew this park was hidden here. It's a pretty big area too, so I was really surprised by it. Parking is pretty cheap, you can pay by coins or through an app and there's lots to do for kids of different ages. There's a couple of playgrounds and a huge GoApe style course too that you have to book. Also, a very basic small fair with a food truck was set up too. You can hire bikes too. There's a couple of lakes too, we find the smaller one at the top was really peaceful. The green at the top end was clean, spacious and lovely to walk around too. Unfortunately, the farm didn't have very much to offer as all the animals were moved out during covid and there's not really a lot to do over that way besides a small coffee shop that's a bit hidden and out the way. Good spot to go with family and children though

Great parks and pathways, some bits missing/ need replacing but suitable for all ages. Water area looks a bit derelict but could be cleaned up for the summer. Lovely pond, currently no swan boats like there used to be. Fayre is good but can be a little expensive and the grabbers rarely work. Even during busy times there’s still plenty of space to move around with large grass fields. Also great for walking pets, bike riding, picnics and so on. There’s food/ drink and ice cream vans but there’s currently no toilets as they’re out of order. Parking can get busy but there’s currently is an overflow car park.

Visited Sandwell Valley Park for the Halloween Fire Garden event. The atmosphere was great and the displays were really nice, but the event itself felt quite small we were expecting a bit more to see and do. That said, the kids absolutely loved it, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a good experience and worth a visit, especially for families with young children.
