I took my 2 young children to SAC at Galston and we all had a great time. The facility was well-organized. The instructor was professional, approachable, and took the time to clearly explain the rules and procedures, which made us feel comfortable even as someone who isn’t a frequent shooter. My kids really enjoyed the gun range and are already planning to come back. Definitely worth booking for something different and fun to do.

It was a fun experience, had an itison voucher for a group of 6.. Andy deserves a shout out as he was brilliant, personality on point and had been working there for 10 years😂 (inside joke) He was professional and full of encouragement, the hand pistols kept jamming so he gave us more time on the bigger weapons. The room we were practising in was laid out well, I would say it needed a bit more lighting as the low light isn't ideal for everyone but he did explain to us it was a darker room. The place could do with a bit a tidy up and the toilets weren't pleasant, no toilet roll in the ladies and really need cleaning, that's maybe because it had been busy. I would say great for a taster session but room for improvements, I would be very interested in the other activities on the site as they have a lot to offer. Thanks to Andy for the great banter. Keep up what you are doing.

I received the Scottish Assault Courses itison deal as a gift for the Airsoft Gun Range & Room Clearance experience, and it was absolutely fantastic. Andy was our instructor for both activities, and he was amazing from start to finish. He was attentive, professional, and made sure we felt confident and safe throughout. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made the whole experience really enjoyable. I would definitely recommend the gun range, it was great fun and a brilliant introduction. However, the room clearance experience was exceptional. Andy showed us around the course, talked us through different scenarios, and really brought the experience to life. It felt immersive, exciting, and incredibly well run. Overall, a brilliant experience and one we’d highly recommend to anyone looking for something a bit different and action-packed!

We attended SAC on the elite pro package which included 90 minutes of instructor led CQB training with high spec airsoft weapons. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. As a Veteran I was surprised at how knowledgeable and skilled our instructor Dougie was. Having trained with live weapons both small arms and rifles in my career I still learned quite a few things and took away some great tips from Dougie. Would highly recommend SAC to anyone looking to gain CQB experience, train with weapons or get involved in Airsoft. 5/5 - we will be back!

We visited the Scottish Assault Courses last weekend and had a fantastic experience! We travelled from Edinburgh, and it was absolutely worth the journey. The location is stunning, surrounded by nature, it’s the perfect setting for an outdoor adventure. The course itself was fun, challenging, and really well thought out. Our instructor was incredibly friendly, positive, and supportive, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. It’s suitable for various fitness levels, and we felt comfortable and encouraged throughout. After the course, we visited a nearby castle and had lunch there. Although this part wasn’t organised by the Scottish Assault Courses, it was a lovely way to end the day. I’d highly recommend anyone doing the course to visit the castle afterwards, it’s a great place to relax and enjoy some good food after the workout. Overall, it was an active, memorable day out in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend the experience!
