So many childhood memories visiting here with grandparents, I just wish the tower would open again as it is so interesting and great veiws from the top. One of my favourite places In Northern Ireland along with Island Hill near by.

Beautiful views, especially the panorama under the tower.

Lovely place for a walk, trail can be quite steep in places and has a few large rocks/steps along the way. Well worth it for the stunning views and scenery.

Great hike through the Killynether Wood. Trail Not marked with signs. A bit muddy and wet when we visited. We weren’t sure if we hiked the entire length, but the views were spectacular. A short climb to reach the Scrabo tower and the views were amazing.

My first time here, although I had visited the forest walks previously but oh my! What views once at Scabo Tower, just breathtaking. The day I visited it was raining intermittently but that really did not spoil anything. The walk from the car park to the Tower I was expecting to be harder than it was but it really was fine (and I'm in my seventies). I am attaching some photographs - but I will be back there again most definately
