It was an great experience to start punting ride from here with johny. I hired this punting drive because of johny met me in the way... johny is very nice person. I visited this place during my Cambridge University conference visit. The chappal around is very nice. The whole surrounding area is very natural and attractive. We hire boating from this place. They are professional and guide properly during the whole journey. I am from india & it was great at that time johny was there to guide me sometime in hindi too. It was veey helpful for me. I recommend this scudamore punting....

This was a really lovely worthwhile experience. I was a little sceptical having walked around Cambridge and had a bus tour. However the view from the river (including the Bridge of Sighs) and the anecdotes were lovely. Our ‘puntress’ was warm and friendly, interesting and humorous. It’s not something I would do every time I visit, but something I would not miss when visiting Cambridge. Thank you.

We took the opportunity during the current heatwave to take a punting tour on the river. Our guide Alex was excellent. He was engaging and informative throughout. We really enjoyed the experience.

First time onboard any punt so have no other experience to go off. I loved it! Our young guide was very friendly, chatty and knowledgeable. This experience differed from our colleagues punt ride. Their guide offered no explanation of where they were going or what they were looking at - so for them a very disappointing show. Given the prices it should have been better. I would go again for sure - but if experiences differ so widely I might have to think carefully.

We had a fantastic punting experience! It was a nice 45-minute tour up the river and back with lots of information on the history of Cambridge, the buildings, and the bridges. Despite being January, we were warm and cozy with blankets and hand warmers they provided. Highly recommend!
