A South Edinburgh playground with exceptional Arthur's Seat views, woodland nature trail with brass rubbing posts, and connections to Buckstone Park.

Seven Acre Park's unique layout—separated by woodland strips with large fields on either side—creates diverse recreation opportunities. The north field offers exceptional views with Arthur's Seat and Salisbury Crags on the horizon. Playground equipment spans all ages with swings, toddler swings, roundabout, spring board, multi-play unit with nets/slides/climbing features, and monkey bars. Beyond the playground, discover outdoor gym equipment, basketball hoops, goal posts, table tennis (bring your own gear), and a nature trail featuring brass rubbing posts and wooden animal sculptures. A scenic woodland path connects to nearby Buckstone Park—a much nicer route than the main road for families exploring South Edinburgh's green spaces.

Cute little park with enclosed playground in the middle. Lots of dog walkers around, good to give your dog the opportunity to run free a bit. Several walks around the area if you want to go on for a bit longer.

Great park with lovely walks in the surrounding fields. Play park for kids is excellent. Plenty of bins for picnic rubbish and poo bags. Well maintained and Great view of Arthur's Seat and over the Firth of Forth to Fife. 🌞👍

Really nice park with an excellent walking trail in some woods, a playground for kids, and big lawn areas for picnics or sports or what have you. I particularly liked the little carved wooden animals scattered throughout!

Fabulous park. Can't really fault it. And if you lucky, you can let the kids feed grass to the horses by the wee farm by the fence perimeter
