Worth the visit because they have guided tour which explain the history of the building and how it affected Shakespeare's life. There are also som interactive activities that you can do such as experiencing how is schooling back in that day.

What a fun afternoon. The people working there are fantastic. The school master stays in character and gives you an amazing history lesson. Then you move on to learning how to write with a quil. A as no your the school house

Better than anticipated. Interesting screening of some historical wall discoveries followed by schoolroom discussion by an excellent staff acting as the teacher of old. Ended with another short film. Worth the admission.

This was without a doubt the best part of Stratford-upon-Avon for me. The staff were wonderfully friendly, going out of their way to talk to and engage visitors of all ages. The “lessons” were really interesting and enjoyable. One gentleman (I’m sorry I forget his name!) took the time to quickly show me the Guild Chapel as well. I will be strongly recommending this place to future tours from my company!

We had an amazing experience here. We had two different guides throughout the tour, both were incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly. The building itself is beautiful and well kept. The chapel where the old painting is, is dark and very well preserved. The schoolroom upstairs is beautiful and the schoolmaster was absolutely incredible. It was a brilliant experience and highly recommended for Shakespeare fans, Historians and general interest. There was an activity sheet for kids to do which is fun and also very educational and interactive.
