Beautiful place to visit. We entered at the top end and intended to go back up via the beach lift but that was out of order so we went back in and returned through the chine. My husband didn't think he would be able to do the return journey but it really wasn't that bad and it was just as enjoyable from the other prospective. Ticket allows you to re-enter during 7 days so many people go back in the evening to see it lit up after dark. I would recommend it as a lovely place to see and experience

A hidden gem. Even when it was busy you barely saw anyone as it was so spread out. Very mysterious and tranquil in the day, but by night it was breathtaking. Why go up the road to the top of town when you could take the chine path up through the land before time!? Spectacular attraction that gives you unlimited access through the week with your ticket.

Shanklin Chine. It is easy to see why this is one of the most visited attractions on the Island; the gardens, waterfalls, and evening lighting create a truly magical and peaceful atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the sense of history provided by the information boards and found the walk to be a perfect way to enjoy nature away from the busier areas of Shanklin. I started the walk from the Old Village, which I found to be an excellent starting point. I would like to specifically mention that the staff member working at the entry booth was very friendly and helpful during both of our interactions. However, I did notice that the queue moved quite slowly as there was only one person managing the booth, which may be an area for potential review during busier periods. While the initial impression was that the entry price was a little high for the duration of the walk, the fact that the £13 ticket remains valid for seven days adds significant value. I also greatly appreciated the discount offered to Blue Light Card holders; thank you for supporting frontline workers in this way. The path leading down to the beach is spectacular, and the cafe and shop at the bottom provide a lovely conclusion to the experience. It is a unique and picturesque spot that is certainly worth the visit. Thank you for maintaining such a beautiful site.

This is a lovely place to visit for some beautiful views and scenery, local history and a break from the sunshine if you need it! Very dog friendly, even on a hot day as 95% is full shade. Blue light discount is offered. There are a lot of steep steps so you need to be fit and mobile, or have plenty of time to take breaks on the various benches along the way. We went in the day and you can return for free for 7 days, so we are planning to return after dark when it's all lit up.

It is a lovely place with an amazing vibe. Hidden views and very green. There is a cafe inside as well. Ticket is reasonable price and you can just buy it at door. Just keep in mind it is not too big and wandering around does not take tooo much time unless you are planning too sit and enjoy, so plan accordingly.
