I visited Go Ape Sherwood Pines with my 8-year-old son and we had a fantastic time on the Adventure Plus course. My son tackled every obstacle like a little mountain goat and absolutely loved the experience. I, on the other hand, found it quite terrifying at times! 😅 I kept repeating to myself, "Don't look down, don't look down," and somehow made it through. So, a word of warning for anyone nervous about heights: the obstacles themselves are quite manageable, but the height definitely feels real and adds an extra challenge. The staff were excellent – friendly, professional, and very efficient at explaining the safety procedures and equipment. For the adventure itself, I would happily give it 5 stars. The course was fun, well-maintained, and created some wonderful memories for us. However, the parking is a different story. I would only give the parking 2 stars. I can understand paying for the activity, but the parking fee feels excessive. By the time we'd paid for two people, parking, and a few small extras, we had spent around £100. That's quite expensive for a family day out. Despite that, we had a great experience and would definitely return in the future

What an amazing place! Our first time visiting today and I will definitely be back. The woodlands are amazing, the Gruffalo trail is really good for little ones and my boy is a massive Julia Donaldson fan so this went down a treat but the bike trails, wow! He absolutely flew round this on his balance bike, he loved it and didn't want to leave. The parking is very expensive, £11 and I wasn't there 3 hours but other than that, we loved our day out!

Love Pines. Can explore this woodland for miles and hours with the family and dog. Or jump on a bike and take on the MBT trails which are farless challenging than the likes of Dalby and Whinlatter, but still great fun and very well built/maintained. Everyone is chatty and friendly. Bike shop staff are very helpful and friendly. Can get busy around Go-Ape and the skills tracks but within minutes you can be alone in the woods in total silence. Can't wait to go back again.

Wow, what an amazing place. There's so much to do for different people. There's 3 walking routes, 2 running routes, loads of bike trails and much more. The running routes aren't on the website but there's one 10km one and one 5km one. Both are clearly signposted and easy to run on. Loads of car parking and you pay at the end of your stay with your registration.

Had a cracking time at Sherwood Pines while staying over at Forest Holidays! It’s a massive playground for everyone plenty of great trails for a long walk or a proper bike ride. The two dogs absolutely loved it plenty of space for them to sniff about and wear themselves out. Just for awareness unless you’re a member, you do have to pay for parking, so keep that in mind. The setup at the entrance is spot on with toilet facilities and a decent cafe for a post-walk brew. The kids have a playground to keep them busy, and the World War trench exhibit is decent for a bit of history mid-stroll. Definitely worth a visit!
