Shiremoore Adventure Playground has to be one of the best places to take the kids. It has everything from a huge outdoor play area, with bikes, rollerskates, petting area, football pitch, little wooden huts, a fire pit, huge sandpit and so much more. Activities go on inside also and they have a cute little cafe window where you can get what you like for next to nothing. The staff are great all amzing people. The young people that attend are given lovely responsibilities and they are definitely part of team always helpful, happy, polite and smiling. Definitely worth a visit.

A lovely place for kids, ideal to get them out playing. There's lots to climb on and run about, bikes, scooters, rollerskates, a part to play football, a coupe of animals, a shop which is very reasonably priced and sells hotdogs, pop, crisps, tea, coffee, biscuits, chocolate and seating areas with tables which you can sit at while your kids play. What is also brilliant is, you can take your own picnics in, it's all free which is fabulous and there's not a time limited so can stay as long as you want.

Absolutely lovely playground and a must visit for kids, it also has special dedicated days for children with special needs SEND, so it’s a must visit. There are sand pits, bikes to ride slides and climbing ropes, jumping station, swings and tire swings, picnic tables and a swing that slides vertically on a rope from one end to the other

This is truly one of the best playgrounds in Newcastle! It's absolutely worth the trip, even if you don't live nearby. The area is spacious, with plenty of fun equipment for kids to play with. There are also animals to see, a small football field, and even free roller skates available to use. It has everything a child needs to have a great time. Highly recommended!

My son loves it here. The staff are so friendly and the little helpers do a great job on the front desk and the cafe. It's clean. The kids love being able to run round in a safe place. The little farm animals are great too. The cafe is so cheap. It's all not for profit. A total hidden gem.
