The facility itself is excellent. Staff support is so so. We have been here and there are 10 people on guard stopping unruly play or older kids in the wrong areas. Other times, like today, 4 people, no obvious manager, 1 trying her best to

We are very satisfied with our visit to Snakes and Ladders Soft Play. The staff today were absolutely brilliant, friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. My kids enjoyed themselves so much and had a fantastic time exploring and playing. The facilities were great, and the welcoming atmosphere made the experience even better. We will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend it to other families.

I raised serious hygiene concerns with this soft play two weeks ago by email and received no proper clarification or response — only “we will investigate.” I specifically asked why staff were entering the baby play area wearing outdoor shoes and why cleaning, including vacuuming, was being done while babies were actively crawling and playing instead of between sessions. I decided to give the place another chance today and the exact same thing happened again. I told one of the staff members, “How are you coming into the play area with shoes on when my baby is crawling here?” and his response was basically, “I’m staff???” as if that somehow made it acceptable. He then said he would “go ask,” disappeared, and when we left he came straight back into the play area AGAIN with shoes on. This is not an emergency situation — staff are casually walking in and out with outdoor shoes just to tidy up while babies are crawling on the floor. One staff member was vacuuming around children while they were still playing using a wired vacuum plugged into the wall, with the cable around the play area where babies and children were moving around. I genuinely do not understand how this is considered safe or appropriate during active play sessions. I genuinely do not understand what kind of “policy” allows outdoor shoes in a baby crawling area. Babies are on those floors touching everything and putting their hands in their mouths. Hygiene standards should be the absolute minimum in a children’s play centre. The fact that this was happening openly in front of parents, after concerns had already been raised, makes it even worse. Very disappointing and extremely concerning for any parent with crawling babies.

Always happy going here and my girls 8 and 6 love it. Plenty to do for them and plenty of seating for parents.

The facility itself is excellent. Staff support is so so. We have been here and there are 10 people on guard stopping unruly play or older kids in the wrong areas. Other times, like today, 4 people, no obvious manager, 1 trying her best to police 3 areas, adults drinking hot coffee in the 4 and under area while the other 3 young staff all stood at the till gassing. Where. Are. The. Adults. In. Charge? Good facility. Could be a lot better with basic management. As an aside. Coffee is rubbish, cheap powder through a fake machine. Just read the reply. Apparently it’s my fault for not telling the staff to do their jobs rather than the ’managers’ for making sure they did theirs. 💁🏻‍♂️
