Colliery Tour Quality from start to finish. Very informative. All the volunteers were great and enthusiastically answered questions. The tour is great value considering the time it takes and the effort for all the volunteers. I choose to donate a bit more at the end. They were all very patient with our kids who enjoyed it despite one of them being a bit too young. I literally do not have one criticism or improvement they could make. Thoroughly reccomend. There is a lot of stuff to do at the rear too, bike trails, playground etc.

Great experience. My family and I had booked a guided Snibston Colliery tour. This included a 1hr ride on a colliery "Dirty Bus". The tour staff were all volunteers and they included a worker in period costume telling us the history of the site; and staff who had had hands on experience of being there before the mine closed. Their stories were told in a sincere and Informative way. Parking was £3 for the day(by credit card). There was a play and picnic area and a good cafe on site. It was dog friendly, including inside the cafe. Well worth the visit!

Nice place for a walk away with gravel and muddy (in places) paths. That being said we managed with a pushchair so not too muddy considering how much rain we had recently had. It also has a lovely playground for children.

Great place, guides are knowledgeable, and make the tour very enjoyable. There is a good children's play area. A very good cafe, catering for a lot of different dietary needs, all easily accessible.

Fantastic little place. Wasn't there for a tour , but a very atmospheric place to walk round nonetheless. The industrial and rusty past is strangely beautiful. Car park has a charged , there is a cafe, theatre, children's play area, skate park and nature reserve there too. Highly recommend , will def return for a tour .
