Despite the 4 stars, a bit of a mixed picture. One teenager did a beginners lesson and really enjoyed it. That was a massive win as she really lacks confidence - so thank you to the instructor, Mark. The other 3 of us have much more experience so did 2 hours on the slope. After 21 years without skiing it was a big relief to find we could still do it. From that perspective, another win! However, the facilities really need updating. I hate button tows with a passion; and one got closed (for no reason we could tell) despite pretty high usage. The other then broke and had to be closed! To add to that, all tickets then had to be checked as they suspected some had taken advantage... But I couldn't find mine (we hadn't been told to keep them once through the barrier, tbf) so we ended up holding up the queue while an unnecessary check was done. The supervisor did offer us an extra half hour by way of compensation, which was really good- largely because so much time was wasted (someone also got injured and it took at least 20 minutes to get everything moving again after they were stretchered off). So, not entirely anyone's fault, but when you've paid that amount of money, you want to actually do more skiing. My watch app informed me I hadn't done enough skiing for it to register, despite the 2 hours... Overall, did the job for us- but could have been better.

I have had 4 lessons here now to get ready for a holiday away skiing for the first time. The first time we did the beginner day course with Ben, he was an amazing instructor, lots of knowledge and patient. However, due to no fault of his own, the beginner slope was far too busy! You didn’t have room for mistakes and for my first time skiing this made me very anxious. There was very young children at the bottom of the slope and so was many times I was worried I would end up injuring them or myself. It seemed almost greedy, although I understand the place has bills and wages to pay, but they do not have the room for the amount of groups on the slope! Somebody is going to get seriously injured one day! I have then had multiple private lessons with Emily, who has built my confidence so much! Her patience, knowledge and sense of humour put me so much at ease and increased my skiing ability no end! I cannot thank Emily enough for this, from a nervous first time skier to a confident skier ready for my holiday away! Staff are absolutely brilliant and cannot help you enough. Cafe area is brilliant, nice food and good menu selection. The downstairs area could do with more benches to get ready on as when they are taking the amount of bookings as they are, is not enough room. Ski lessons are expensive however the knowledge from instructors make it worth it, even if the danger of a too many people was there. Overall, I would go back for more lessons, especially with Emily. However I think if the amount of people on the slopes really needs to be looked at.

I have been here a few times now and on a whole really love the place. This visit was very busy with netted off areas due to an evening activity that they had, This limited the area to ski, along with a lot of bare places and ice patches. Seemed in the occasion more effort was being put in place for their evening jump activity. This wasn’t mentioned in booking. None the less practice is practice.

Me & 4 other members of my family had a great time learning to ski with Freddie. He was funny, engaging, understanding and the best guy to show complete novices where to start from the very basics. Will definitely return & hope Freddie is there to teach us more!

This was my very 1st time at Skiing, the place is amazing, 1st the Coach Elysia Fish, brilliantly coach me from absolute useless to end of dsy being able to go down the big slope on my own with turns, and stopping... I loved it.. booked another lesson staright away as you get discount. You also get Boots, skis and helmet included. If you book a day lesson you will be in a small group and lunch is included, its not amazing food but its mid table, However the overall experience was fab and it helped having a absolute super Coach. Whatever you do, to prep for ypur next or 1st ski trip, BOOK THIS PLACE.
