The friendliest staff and animals ever, especially the guinea pigs 🐁! An amazing array of breeds of 🐔 🐥 and 🐖 🐷 the woodlands walk was gorgeous and the hamburger meal was lush, if a tiny bit pricy.

I used to come here as a child and have amazing memories, now I bring my daughter here and it's just as fun as I remember. The volunteers are lovely and so friendly, this is definitely one of my favourite days out. 🤎

Had a great day at The Rare Breeds Centre. Our granddaughters, 7 & 3 loved it there. The Children's Barn was lovely to get close up to animals. All the enclosures were very well presented. Wonderful conditions for the animals. There were 2 playground areas, plenty of seating, abundance of washing stations. Very impressed with it all. We ate in the restaurant, we all enjoyed it. Would thoroughly recommend this place for young children, parents and grandparents.

We spent the whole day here with our grandchildren and there was plenty to keep them busy. It is very well laid out and even though there were a lot of people there it didn't feel crowded. There were animals to pet such as lambs, rabbits and guinea pigs. There was also a barn containing new born lambs though unfortunately we didn't see any being born. There are also different play areas with different equipment to suit all ages as well as a variety of different walking routes to choose from. Added to this there were specific activities throughout the day. The one we liked best was the pig racing! Definitely a good day out.

Visited on easter weekend. Very busy! Lots of parking. Cost us around £50-60 entry for 2 adults, 2 children and 1 under 2. Plenty to see. You can be interactive with the animals (stroke the guinea pigs and rabbits), feed the sheets and pigs during certain times. All animals really friendly and accessible. Lots of places to wash hands. Face panting and glitter tattoos for the kids at around £5 each. Butterfly tunnel was closed when we went and we couldn’t locate the zip line. We went to the restaurant perhaps at the worse time possible. Ordered burger, panini and two kids meals. Waited 30+ minutes. Had to fight for seating. I’d recommend to not go when there is a break for feeding the animals as I assume this is when everyone else goes. Perhaps the kitchen needs more staff during a busy period like this. Food was a good standard though. Overall a great experience!
