Great cafe, art gallery and lovely open spaces. Lots of fun for all. But surely the fountain could be repaired!!!???

As one of the first public parks ever created in London, it carries a real sense of history and character that you just don't find everywhere. And yet despite its age, it feels fresh, well-loved, and brilliantly maintained throughout the year. A proper south London gem that punches well above its weight. We attended the Southwark Carnival for the first time. It was absolutely Amazing! The atmosphere and the prices of the food and drinks were reasonable. It was very family-oriented. I hope it's back again next year. This will definitely become my annual go-to from now on.

Numerous families with children can take advantage of the spacious green areas for play. Benches are conveniently placed throughout the park, offering visitors opportunities to rest and appreciate the surroundings. In general, it is a highly esteemed park within the community. Furthermore, there are some charming animals that can be seen around the park.
