Visit websiteJust outside Worcester is this little gem. No matter what time of year there are always plants of interest to see. A walk around the lake builds up just the right appetite for a treat from Little Al’s. I can thoroughly recommend the ploughman’s lunch! The pathways are wide and the grounds are largely flat, making it accessible and suitable for all ages. There are often art exhibitions in the learning centre, with local artists sharing their work. As locals we’ve visited many times and enjoyed every one.
A privately owned park and gardens offering all year round floral displays, some areas are still under development but there's plenty to see. A cafe offers light snacks and beverages. Well worth a visit, and visitors could typically spend 4hrs here. The house however is out of bounds to the public but all amenities needed are provided throughout the grounds.
A lovely place for a morning or afternoon visit. The grounds are beautiful with a lake walk, church and walled garden. Food at the cafe is reasonably priced, we can recommend the baked potatoes! There are plenty of tables outside with parasols and inside if it's chilly.. There was an art exhibition and plants for sale on the day we went. All staff were very friendly and helpful. We will return when passing and the flowers are out.
Another lovely discovery. We were passing through the area and wanted a nice stopover, and this was perfect. The gardens were beautiful in Autumn, with such vibrant colours, and so many different secret areas to explore. The cafe was really delicious as well! Well worth a visit and the kind of place where you would spot something new every time.
Beautifully planted and very well maintained. A joy to stroll around with plenty of different styles of gardens to see. A lake teeming with different types of bird life. There is also a little museum and an exhibition space which are included in the ticket. Clean and well stocked toilets. Would recommend, especially in Spring.
