This was a great place. You can strain your eyes to see from Brighton to Southampton and get an amazing view of the Solent, Portsmouth Harbour and everything around. The glass is quite green so pictures might need adjusting. The 'open air' deck at the top isn't as good because the glass slants too much to photograph through but I'd certainly go again. It's also a day ticket so you can go up more than once.

My family and I went to the skybar Sunday evening, the atmosphere was lovely, Olivia Haggarty was the singer that night and she was amazing, great choice of songs, with a beautiful voice, the view was stunning, the staff were all friendly too. Would definitely recommend, thank you

I came here on the weekend, Sunday evening, for drinks at the Sky Bar with a friend, I booked the early slot of 19:00 as I wasn't sure how busy it would get but it was not busy at all this evening, I assume it was because the weather wasn't amazing that evening. It does cost £10 per person to reserve the booking and they check on arrival downstairs if you're on the list, you do get a glass of champagne upon entering the Sky Bar which was very nice. We got seated straight away and had a fantastic table right by the main window, I would recommend if you're really not good with heights but can stomach the journey up at least, ask for a seat that is more central nearer the bar itself. I tried one of the signature cocktails - the Spinnaker Tower - this was amazing, and tasted like those foamy banana sweets but more alcoholic. I also had a negroni which hands down was the best one I've had by far! During the visit there was a live singer on, she did a rough 45 - 60 minute set and she was really good, and it made the visit more special. The views are good from up the tower, and I can only imagine what they're like on a clear summer evening. I absolutely would recommend a visit to the Sky Bar, and definitely will be coming back again next time I'm in the area.

My wife and I booked the all-day ticket online paying the reduced rate of £14.50 each. It was a clear day. Not to be too harsh but it really is just a glorified viewing platform for the most part. It provides a good view of the surrounding area. Its website describes the views as “breathtaking” which is a very generous description indeed. A charge of £9.90 would be more realistic. Not a bad experience. Not a great one either hence the three stars.

Visited on a weekday. This is an iconic landmark for Portsmouth. 170 meters above Portsmouth Harbour. Near Gunwharf Quays. There is a fee to go up. There is also a cafe with superb view. I saw people descending down the tower to boost their adrenaline. Not for the faint hearted. A must visit.
