The flowers at this place are particularly colourful this year and the members of staff clearly spend colossal amounts of time to ensure that the displays look wonderful. I really enjoy visiting the aquatic section of this place. Everything looks extremely clean and the members of staff in the aquatics section are friendly and helpful. I like the fact that they are available for questions, but they do not hover and ask you numerous questions, which is extremely off-putting. This place offers a range of items and the members of staff are cheerful and provide excellent customer service. I have updated my review of Squire's since my last review: ***Whenever we attend this place, the members of staff, particularly those at the till are welcoming and friendly. I would also like to praise Lynda. She is just lovely to the customers and makes them feel welcome.***

Such a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Had a lovely time catching up with a dear friend and had a tasty lunch of smoked salmon and scrambled egg on a wholesome bagel with side salad. Lots of choice on the menu. And great rewards with the Friends of Squires App.

2026.05.08 Popped in 2 C what was on offer. Had a little mooch around, far 2 much 2 buy, he he. Needed a sit-down, I’m 62 years old after all; so I treated myself to a strawberry slice & a pot of tea — utterly lush, perfectly sweet, & wonderfully refreshing. Well worth a visit.

Went for a look around. Ended up having breakfast. We had a Squires full English, which was nice. Apart from the hard dried out bacon and black pudding. Under the heat lamps for to long. Lovely coffee. Pretty good service from the friendly staff.

Lovely garden centre let down by the exceptionally poor service in both the cafe and the restaurant, based on several visits over the past few months. Horrendously slow in both facilities. Insufficient staff each time we have been. Customers get fed up of waiting and just walk away. The provision for toddlers is inadequate. We had to buy something suitable from the shop for our grandson to eat in the cafe. It could so easily be improved, such a shame
