Lovely ground and playground is fun. Enjoyed going to the pond too, with a fair bit of wildlife including lots of tadpoles. There is a nice cafe, Ivy Kitchen, which has lovely milkshakes. Unfortunately they don't refill water bottles, you have to buy their bottled water

Went around St Ives yesterday for the first time. I spent about 4 hours just walking around aimlessly really and there's lots to explore, wooded areas, walk around the pond through the village, there's so many different paths you could take and spend alot of time there

This has been a favourite place since childhood for walks and adventures. So much to explore with fantastic views if you choose the right route (routes range from 1-3 miles). Main parking is near the entrance (from Bingley side) but you can drive further up to a small car park next to the playground where there’s also an information board. The estate can be traced back to the 12th century and it was purchased by the local council in 1928. There is a public toilet by the excellent playground and a cafe nearby that’s well worth a visit. Paths are generally good condition but walking boots/wellies advised. Also watch out for mess left by irresponsible dog owners 😕

Lovely estate to walk around, been going for years. Several different walks. Play area for the kids and a cafe for refreshments. There are benches and picnic areas to stop at as well as you go around.

Very nice place to visit all green and quiet. Close to neighbouring cities but still far from civilisation. If you’d like me, you like nature that’s a great place to visit.
