Lovely place for Sunday walk with family. Parking wasn't busy, the coffee shop was good.

Despite being a bit crowded, the warm(26°C) weather made it an ideal day to visit Splashland. At the entrance, a parking full sign was displayed, but I decided to check anyway and easily found several empty spaces. Parking was straightforward and reasonably priced at £6 for three hours, with quick payment through the app. The ice‑cream shop had a noticeable queue, but the wait was worth it. Prices were refreshingly fair compared to many other UK parks, which was a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere overall was friendly, with lots of families and children enjoying the day. A lively, enjoyable outing, and definitely a place worth visiting on a warm day.

We had a fantastic day out at Stanborough Park! The park is beautiful and spacious, perfect for kids to run around and explore. The lake adds a peaceful touch, and the splash park was an absolute hit with the children – they had so much fun cooling off and playing in the water. It’s a clean, safe, and very family-friendly spot, ideal for picnics, strolls, and a full day of outdoor fun! 🌳💦☀️🦆

It's a great spot for those looking to spend a day in the outdoors without straying too far from the conveniences of the city.

Lovely park. Lots of parking spaces on a nice warm day. Lovely water park/play area for children. Snack stand with drinks and ice cream and 5 or 6 picnic tables. Nice bridge to walk over the river to the lake where there are pedalos and a lovely big walk around the lake. In an hour we had got less than half way taking a leisurely stroll and sitting on the park benches watching the wildlife. Great time here for all ages and the dogs loved the walk. Would definitely go here again and pay for longer on the parking ticket to walk the whole lake
