Truly upholding and scrumptiously mesmirising stay! Must visit. Cons: maybe it’s a bit too big BUT it has ALL the amenities: toilets ( free ), pond, water boating , football courts, tennis courts basketball etc + sports centre and racing track as well as cool landscaping! And the animals and seagulls are quite dreaming, so bring bird food if you come with children.
Lovely day out, nice walks and things to do for the kids. Shame that wasnt many toilets local to the children's park area
Stanley Park in Blackpool is an absolute gem—easily one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in the area. From the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by stunning landscapes, perfectly kept gardens, and a real sense of calm that’s hard to find elsewhere in the town. The park is incredibly well maintained, with vibrant flower displays, scenic pathways, and plenty of open green space to relax or enjoy a picnic. The boating lake adds a lovely touch, and watching the swans glide across the water makes it feel almost postcard-perfect. There’s also a great mix of things to do—whether it’s a quiet stroll or letting kids enjoy the play areas. One of the standout features is the Art Deco café, which gives the park a unique character and is a great spot to grab a drink and take in the surroundings. Everything feels thoughtfully designed, blending natural beauty with a bit of classic charm. Whether you’re a local or just visiting Blackpool, Stanley Park is a must-see. It’s the perfect escape from the busy seafront—peaceful, picturesque, and genuinely uplifting.
Stanley Park is a beautiful and very vast park in Blackpool, perfect for a peaceful walk. The garden areas are well maintained, and the lake with swans adds a lovely touch to the scenery. Since we visited in winter, many leaves had fallen from the trees, giving the park a calm seasonal look. We also saw workers planting new plants, which shows how well the park is cared for. A great place to relax and enjoy nature. There’s a paid toilet, cafe and plenty of parking areas as well.
A short walk from.the town centre and easy to find. A great open space with a lot of green to enjoy (and I do). Nice history provided by the visitor centre and some welcome warmth on a January morning. I was a little overwhelmed by 11 dogs in the visitor centre/refreshments area. Dogs seem to have priority and run of the outdoor space too. This is probably a great place if the sun comes out in summer time but for now, peace and quiet and a great open space if fine. Toilet facilities are available at a cost of 40p
