It's been a long time since I was here before, 63 years to be exact. It hasn't changed that much, the trees are a bit taller. I went to see the new exhibition at the James Cook museum steps. I've added photos.

Lovely park to take time out! Great amount of space to go with the family, walk your dog or visit alone. Small animal enclosures & all well cared for. Good play park - nice & tidy. Great parkrun each Saturday morning - lovely organisers!

Lovely park with children's play area, free carparking. Beautiful lawns, trees and lake. Interesting museum for James Cook Busy park run on Saturday mornings at 9am if you want to avoid crowds

Amazing walk at the Steward Park with #TheGrandRisers. Park offers a truly refreshing experience and stands out as a prime spot for local recreation. We particularly loved the winding, well-shaded walking paths which make for a peaceful morning jog or an easy afternoon stroll, completely separated from traffic noise. The playground features modern, safe equipment that kept the kids entertained for hours, and the nearby picnic tables are perfectly situated for parents to watch comfortably. Additionally, there are several large, open fields perfect for kite-flying or informal sports. The atmosphere is consistently calm and inviting. While the restroom facilities could use an update, the sheer beauty and tranquility of the surroundings make this a five-star destination. I park is really good. Good maintenance of animal cages, grass areas. And there is parking facality for vehicles . The park is much huge in area even then there is no public washrooms. Public toilets was missing when i went.
