Went on a date night last night with my husband and daughter, my daughter has autism and adhd. She works at the farm and loves the workers as she normally has severe anxiety. She doesn't normally speak to people, but most workers have made her feel welcomed and safe. We absolutely loved ciara at the entrance, very polite and had lovely chats with us. My husband had a lovely chat with emily greer, she was well spoken and very lovely. The food was amazing at the burger barn, lovely service and food was good quality. Animals are well looked after, well fed and really loved. Extremely good care of the animals, the animals look happy and we fell in love with jessie and woodys mum. She was super friendly and loved getting pets. Big shoutout to benjamin, the way they spoke to my daughter and let her cuddle a bunny. They were super friendly, didn't judge me for having a walking stick and they did an amazing job!!! Love coming to the farm, but thank you ciara, benjamin and emily for making our night with your lovely chats!!!

We were staying in heathery hill in Amy and Jonney's place as part of a trip to Belfast to see the sights with the kids. We visited here on our last morning and expected to be there to use the playground and go to the shop to get a teddy but we were there half the day at least, it's a brilliant spot. There is so much to do for the kids, there are lots of staff, all friendly. The place is really well maintained and has clearly had lots of investment. Our kids loved it, would highly recommend it.

Unbelievable place for kids. Clean, tidy and plenty to do. Get to see animals up close and pet chicks, rabbits, rats and more. Indoor bouncy castle, soft play for very young. Tractor rides. Make sure you get there early to park and Q up to make the most of the day. Booking essential, Morning Slot and Afternoon Slot. Puppies a real bonus

[I visited on 22nd March] There are many different species of animals including chickens, sheep ( and lambs) , cows, pigs, peafowl, rats, goats, Llamas, alpacas and puppies( amoung many more)! There is refreshments including tea whitch was delicious. You were able to handle ( with care) chicks, puppies, guinea pigs and rabbits. You cpuld also hand feed some animals such as deer. It was a very cute experince. As it was Spring you could enter the maternity sheep ward. There was a lamb freshly born only half an hour prior. The staff are very helpful and friendly. There is an abundance of hand washing stations and hand santistzer to keep hygiene high. There is a tractor carriage ride that takes you around the park and can even see Stormont and surrounding Belfast area. The view is beautiful. There is a small walk with relaxing water streams. There is also a cute fairy garden among a peaceful ambience. (although I dont have children) There is plently of children play areas that I would have loved when I was younger. You are given an itinerary of all the daily feeding times and other events. There is signs of the names of the different animals and their personalities. Overall I would love to go again.

My cab driver tried to warn us as he dropped us off. The animals are NOT taken care of. I was looking forward to going here but I left after an hour. As soon as I went into the area with the ponies, donkeys and the horse, I immediately knew something was off. The donkey was up against the wall looking away and looked anxious and uncomfortable. As I looked through the reviews, that donkey was photographed in the exact same position a year ago. I love donkeys & that’s a donkey that’s not being taken care of. They’re not like that. The horse in the corner was facing the wall and did not look around. It looked anxious and depressed. There was an older horse who kept doing a movement with its head and tongue over and over. Once is cute but over and over again, it looked unwell, maybe colic. It was doing it so much, there’s no way keepers didn’t notice unless they chose not to. Further down, there were two calfs separated from their mother. Why? We then went to pet the rabbits and guinea pigs. We were given a rabbit with a severe eye injury that had puss in it. That rabbit should not be around people. That eye was infected and it looked like it would lose the eye. Why was it not with a vet instead of being passed around a bunch of people while it’s unwell? The maternity ward for the sheep was the last straw for us. Why were they all packed up in there like that? They are ALL pregnant. They need more space. If there isn’t enough space, maybe don’t have so many sheep? The puppies are honestly the only part of the whole visit that was sweet and glad they have partnered with an organisation to have them adopted. Aside from that, it’s a no from me. If you want to bring your kids to see some mistreated animals, make your way otherwise, go somewhere else.
