Very good, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Beautifully laid out museum with nice displays. Great place to spend a couple of hours.

The staff are so warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to help me, a disabled, wheelchair user, get to park near by and visit their museum! The exhibits are so detailed and interesting! We will be back again!

We had a very interesting and informative morning visiting the museum! We didn’t really know what to expect, but it surpassed our expectations! There’s plenty of vehicles to look at and some you can go in! We particularly like the carriage simulator which gave us an insight of what it was like to travel in horse and carriage! There’s lots of different sections to explore and lots of memorabilia to see! It’s free entry, but no cafe. So worth bringing a picnic to have in the lovely gardens at the front!

A truly amazing museum full of interesting artefacts, vehicles and street scenes of days gone by. You could spend hours in this place and its free to enter. There is something for everyone and how many people do you hear say: “I remember that” or “I rode on one of those”! There really is too much too much to describe and really recommend a visit. The only criticism is the gift shop is very basic.

This is free to visit and part of the Hull Museum Quarter. There are several old shop interiors, which have been rescued from throughout the city and these have been recreated into a street scene complete with old trams along with exhibitions of other old transport types such as horse carriages and bicycles. Good for all ages.
