How did I not know this place existed?? I've lived in Essex all my life (more or less!) and at nearly 40 we've only just discovered Stubbers - good in a way as it proves there's always something new out there! I came here today with my 3yr old boy, it was a glorious 32° day, the entry fee was the grand total of £3.50 for both of us (not each), and while you do have to pay extra for activities (£8 for the pedalos, £32 for a 2 person kayak etc.), there is plenty to do if you don't want to do other activities. We played at the beach for an hour or so, spent another hour on the various large play areas, had a go on a unicorn pedalos (his choice!) and wandered down to the watersports lake to see what was on offer there. All in we were there for about 5 hours, my boy had a great time and definitely wants to come back! Next time we'll book a kayak in advance. A great place, minimal entry fee, everyone we spoke to was perfectly nice. 5 stars all round. We shall return!
We had an amazing day at Stubbers Adventure Park! The activities were exciting, well organised, and suitable for all ages. The staff were friendly, encouraging, and made everyone feel safe and welcome throughout the day. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and there was a fantastic variety of adventures to choose from. It’s the perfect place for families, school trips, or anyone looking for a fun outdoor experience. We made some brilliant memories and will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended
In a world of family activities that are extortionate, disappointing and with staff who are utterly pointless, Stubbers was a breath of fresh air (pun unintended). The range of activities is great and reasonably priced, run by pationate friendly staff. Shout out to Owen at the cave and Tish at the clip and climb. There's enough free to use on site to take a family of 4, entry for £11 and take a picnic for a cheap day out without any upselling or downsides if you just want some great play parks and a beach to play on. Even things like free parking, clean bathrooms and drinking water fountains just make life so much easier if you are a parent. Thanks guys keep it up!
Thoroughly enjoyed a day out here with the family. We didn’t book any activities but made use of the playground/picnic areas and walks by the lakes. Everything was in excellent condition and the park was very clean. We got some lunch from the nice cafe on site. Entry prices were very fair. We will definitely be returning.
Perfect place for spending all day with family. Love new attractions for kids and lots of to do. We were visiting this park often a couple of years ago, so I was surprised to see all the changes. Need to pay for entrance so not too crowded. Adult £3, child £4, under 5 free. Spacious free parking. Toilets on site. Clean and well taken care. Coffee shop expensive and unfortunately card payment only.
