Excellent place to take the Family,caves are fantastic as is the gift shop and cafe. Don't forget to get a cookies and creme ice cream on the way out. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Been a few times,as a family and it makes a great stop on the 🏍 for a quick pot of yorkshire tea,very reasonable prices 💯 👌

Great day out for the whole family! Even better we pitched our camper for the night, great price, it was really peaceful and lovely to watch nature go by. Staff were friendly, informative and helpful. Some surprises for our 4 year old, made it memorable and extra special. Stump cross caverns were an historical and a magical experience for us, already recommended to friends, We will be back!

Wow. We're to start, amazing, friendly staff on our arrival. A real easy to explore cavern. A lovely shop to look around after you've finished. We also had afternoon tea which was amazing(had to bring some home) and we finished our afternoon with geo cracking. Well worth the visit.

Amazing place to go for the day has a family couple or solo. Very safe, I thought it was different to all the other cave experiences has you get a uv torch to shine on all the crystals plus a map and a story to watch on tv informing you how the cave was formed. Very nice cafe selling food drinks ice cream cakes, a outdoor seating area to take in the views. There's a gift shop selling Amazing crystals and fossils, geo cracking is cool you get to crack your rock in the shed around the back, there is also a place where you can take your sludge bag to siv in the water for gold rocks and crystals this was fun. Car park was big enough, toilets are down the stairs. Staff all friendly and informative. I think there is also a option to go down in the cave with all lights off and just uv on later. Very well priced for everything you get. Took us a hour to walk through shining our torches on everything. It's cold down there so makesure you take a jumper and good footwear. You are given a hard hat to stop you banging your head on the small walk ways. It's fascinating to experience this in the Yorkshire dales and very interesting day trip. Definitely reccomend you visit.

Great visit for us. Travelled over five hours in our Motorhome to visit Yorkshire with my children aged 10 & 13. They really enjoyed the caverns with the blue light torches and in the dark. Had lots of fun! Ice cream and hot chocolate was amazing! Our Motorhome leisure battery was flat when we arrived. Sobwe had limited uses in the motorhome. Temperature was due to drop bellow -2 overnight and after speaking to the son onside, he allowed us to hook up for a small fee. I would have paid either way as that was the difference between moving on and staying the night. I am so thankful we could hook up!! Solved all our issues x I would even suggest a higher price for hook up if its avaliable at the time as an option. We only stayed one night due to the location but highly recommend Stump Cross and their family run business
