Quite small but loads there to see. The birds they've rescued and helped are amazing and the staff are so dedicated. Had a great time with a 20 minute owl encounter as well, the trainer I was with (I think she was called Hannah) was amazing too and really made the experience with the owl that went meow, I've forgotten his name, sorry 😂 but the dedication and passion of everyone there was obvious The site is going through some big improvements too, which is nice to see. Would return and recommend, especially adding an owl encounter onto your booking 🦉

I had been meaning to take my daughter here since last year and we finally made it. What a wonderful place, with such beautiful birds and other animals, including my daughter's new favourite, the pair of large hairy armadillos. The flying displays and animal talks were well thought out and caring, fostering natural behaviours. The aviaries and enclosures are all in good condition with excellently detailed interpretative panels. There are plenty of picnic tables, lovely planting and even a small play area. All in all a wonderful day out and one that does such important work to protect. I highly recommend visiting and we will be back again.

Visted with my wife over the easter weekend. Went to all the talks and both flying demonstrations. Loved it! Being a slightly smaller park you will find plenty of time to talk to the trainers when they are inside the cages and the volunteers who have a wealth of knowledge. Will be coming back soon. LOVED IT!

We had an excellent afternoon out at the Suffolk Owl Sanctuary! We paid for an experience so met Auckland the owl, and the keepers were great, very knowledgeable about her breed. We watched a flight show too, and saw two other owls flying, and a pair of vultures. That was really interesting to listen to. The enclosures were well-maintained, and several were in the process of having makeovers. We saw lots of other birds, meerkat, red squirrels, and the back end of a porcupine. We didn't visit the play area, but that also looked very cool, and the gift shop was great, nice and relevant items for sale. Overall a fab afternoon!

Visited today and was very impressed with the sanctuary. The birds and other animals have plenty of space and large enclosures, which are well maintained. The flying displays were absolutely brilliant, (not to be missed). The birds get up close and personal. The staff are very informative and happy to chat. Lots of information dotted about and great write ups on all the birds and animals. The little gift shop is full of fantastic things and great gift ideas. The money spent on tickets and gifts all goes back into the sanctuary to help with the upkeep. All on all a fantastic day had by the whole family
