Me and my wife have been coming to Sutton on sea for over 20 years it was a lovely place but thus time we where a but disappeared its looking run down and there are about five junk shops and some shops closed down the council must of spent a fortune on a new building by the sea it ok and as a coffee shop and a view area to the sea its been over five yes I think into its making around it now its like a building site the bowling green gone the small children padding pool gone and the small ice cream shop that was close by gone There's two good fish and chip shops and a out door cloths shop and a family buchner that looks well procented and quilty products a large hardware shop with helpful friendly staff good old cooplands. And the best is the gardens the people who do them have taken there time and made them beautiful. I was supposed that the council hadn't rented the empty shops to Turkish barber's or vape shops The town of Sutton on sea has a history and was a beautiful place to visit the people are really nice unfortunately like all council the don't take into consideration of the people and just do what they like depending on which ones taken cash back handers for things they do without telling the villages There is still a new build off the roundabout what looks like it's abandoned an eyes saw of this sea side village So the council needs to pull its finger out and help the community bring back the mystic of thes once beautiful place

A pleasant partly sandy beach. Except for the central section, dogs are allowed there. A mixture of sand and shingle and a slight slope, facilities like food, shop etc are a short walk away.

There are not much activity for children near the beach. However it's very calm and clean beach. 2Hr free parking available just stone's throw away

An old‑fashioned seaside resort with enough charm to get away with it, and enough sand to hide an army. Sutton‑on‑Sea is the sort of place that hasn’t felt the need to reinvent itself since about 1953 — and honestly, good for it. There’s a quiet confidence in a resort that still offers wide promenades, sensible beach huts, and a beach so vast that when the tide goes out it looks like the sea has emigrated to the Netherlands. Most holidaymakers do the classic manoeuvre: up the ramp, straight onto the sand, chairs down, job done. But walk even a few minutes north or south and the crowds thin dramatically. Suddenly it’s just you, the wind, and the dune‑grass doing its best impression of interpretive dance. Old‑school charm, endless sand, and space to breathe. A resort that doesn’t try too hard because it doesn’t need to.
